About the Showcase of Health Research

Since 2006, the Centre for Applied Health Research, a research and evaluation department at St. Joseph's Care Group, has proudly hosted the Showcase of Health Research, Northwestern Ontario's premier annual event spotlighting the diverse work that advances health and well-being in our region.

Who takes part?

This event gathers 200 people from the Northwestern Ontario community, including healthcare professionals, researchers, students, analysts, scientists, and other community members, to share ideas, showcase their health projects, and foster meaningful collaboration.

Each year, the Showcase of Health Research features a wide range of projects, from research studies and program evaluations to quality improvement initiatives. Whether your work is scholarly, clinical, or rooted in community experience, the Showcase of Health Research welcomes contributions that support a healthier Northwestern Ontario community.
