Showcase of Health Research

What is the Showcase of Health Research?

Since 2006, the Centre for Applied Health Research has hosted the Showcase of Health Research, the premier annual venue for sharing work that advances health and well-being across Northwestern Ontario. This event brings together healthcare professionals, students, analysts, researchers, scientists, and community members to exchange ideas, present findings, and foster collaboration.

Each year, participants gather to showcase a diverse range of health-related projects, encompassing academic research, program evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. Whether your work is scholarly or practice-based, the Showcase values contributions that support healthier communities through meaningful and actionable insights.

During the Showcase, participants have the opportunity to:

  • Share and learn about a wide range of health projects relevant to Northwestern Ontario , including research studies, program evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Discuss how evidence and innovation can be applied in clinical and community settings.

  • Network and build partnerships to support ongoing improvement in health across the region.
